Transfer of Possession details

• If more than one individual applies, we must receive separate credit applications for each.
• If approved, the applicant assumes both the customer's interest in the vehicle and the liability for the outstanding debt. The original owner remains on the account as the guarantor, but doesn't have interest in the vehicle.
• Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America's position as the lien holder does not change.
• There is no fee for this process.
• The customer is responsible for any and all other fees related to the transfer or re-registration of the vehicle, as well as the ability to obtain insurance.
• Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America will provide the necessary documents and permission to transfer or re-register the vehicle.
