Control when you need it most
The Outlander Sport upholds Mitsubishi's all-wheel-drive heritage with the All-Wheel Control (AWC) system2. AWC continually monitors the road and intelligently transfers power and braking to the wheels with the most traction. Whether you're driving on snow, gravel or the highway, All-Wheel-Control keeps you on track.
Traction and Braking
Performance is more than just horsepower. We designed the new Outlander Sport with that philosophy in mind. Our four-channel Electronic Brake-force Distribution with Brake Assist, Active Stability Control3 and Traction Control Logic all work in tandem to give you superior traction, handling and performance.
Moved by MIVEC
The 2.0L MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve-timing Electronic Control) engine balances maximum HP of 1484 with low fuel consumption for a smooth, efficient drive. For even more power, the GT model features a 2.4L version of the MIVEC.

2 Not all features are available on all models.
3 The Active Stability Control system is not a collision avoidance system or an automatic driving system. It is designed to use only limited braking and is never a substitute for safe and careful driving. Never rely solely on the Adaptive Stability Control system.
