SUPER ALL-WHEEL C0NTROL

The engineering is just as sophisticated as the design. Our legendary S-AWC comes standard on all models for maximum traction and control of fast-paced city streets, calmed-down trips to the mountains, lakes and every driving condition in between.

Put the Power in Steering

When the road is unpredictable, Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control uses additional torque vectoring technologies to keep you confident, wherever and whenever you need it. All you have to do is switch into one of the 3 different drive modes:

Auto

Auto is well-balanced with 4-Wheel Drive performance that gives you advanced fuel-efficiency, traction, high speed stability and handling that’s far more predictable.

Snow

Snow is perfect for the Winter season as it provides improved traction and stability designed specifically for icy, snow-covered roads.

Gravel

Switch to Gravel Mode when driving down more coarse road, giving you additional traction if you’re stuck in a rough patch.

More Control – Yaw Control

Active Yaw Control is the system that controls the driving and braking forces between the front wheels by judging your driving and Eclipse Cross movements. Using information from steering angle and yaw rate to driving torque, braking pressure and wheel speed, Active Yaw Control helps your Eclipse Cross make the most of its 4WD capabilities.

Turbo-charged Power

Eclipse Cross 1.5L direct-injection turbo engine specializes in giving you that "off-the-line" feeling – that burst of power and pace. Combined with a standard CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and 8-speed Sport Mode, Eclipse Cross delivers quick and responsive acceleration with dependable fuel-efficiency.
