You want to have the safest drive possible, which is why the 2023 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid is equipped with multiple standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems  (ADAS). These integrated systems help to safeguard you and your passengers, so that you can all enjoy the journey even more.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

The Lane Departure Warning system continually monitors your current lane position and gives you a gentle audible and visual alert if it senses you might be unintentionally drifting.

FORWARD COLLISION MITIGATION WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION

If a car or pedestrian is detected in front of you, Forward Collision Mitigation will let you know. If the brakes are not applied and the vehicle detects that a risk of collision is imminent, the vehicle will attempt to stop.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

Your back is covered, too. Rear Cross Traffic Alert scans the area behind the vehicle for nearby objects while you’re in reverse and will issue an audible warning immediately if it senses anything.

BLIND SPOT WARNING

If another vehicle approaches a blind spot, Blind Spot Warning will flash a warning light in the corresponding side mirror. If you activate your indicator, an audible and visual alert will tell you it’s not safe to change lanes.
