Because there's no such thing as 'too safe'.
Adaptive Cruise Control
Available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)6 employs radar technology to judge distances between you and the vehicle ahead, helping you maintain a safe driving distance. If the car moves out of your lane or goes beyond your set speed, the system will resume your set speed.
Keep your hands on the wheel during inclement weather with standard rain-sensing windshield wipers. Activating at the first drop of rain, the wipers adjust to match the frequency of rainfall so you can continue to focus on what's ahead.
Blind Spot Warning and Lane Change Assist
Standard Blind Spot Warning and Lane Change Assist Systems7 alert you when a vehicle is in or approaching your blind spot. When a vehicle is traveling at the same speed or faster in the detection areas, a warning light illuminates in the corresponding side mirror. If your turn signal is on, the warning light on the corresponding mirror blinks and the system then beeps three times to signify it is unsafe to change lanes.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
The standard Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)7 System detects a vehicle approaching from either side while you're backing up. The warning lights on both side mirrors will blink, a buzzer will sound to alert you, and a warning message will appear on the information screen of the multi-information color display.
Light the way
Available LED headlights and standard fog lights offer better visibility when inclement weather descends. In fog, rain or snow, navigate safely with a clear view of the road ahead.

2 The Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)/Pedestrian Detection (PD) system is a driver aid only and is not a substitute for safe and careful driving. Under certain circumstances, the system may not detect other vehicles and/or pedestrians correctly.
3 The Lane Departure Warning system is designed to read the lane marks under certain conditions. It is not a collision avoidance system and is not a substitute for safe and careful driving.
4 Available Automatic High Beam Headlights (AHB) detect vehicles ahead and will do the work for you by automatically switching between high beams and low beams. Auto High Beam now available on SE, SEL and SEL Touring package.
5 The Multi-View Camera System is a driver aid only and is not a substitute for visual confirmation. The view on the screen is limited and objects outside of that view will not be seen.
6 Adaptive Cruise Control is not a collision avoidance system or an automatic driving system. It is designed to use only limited braking and is never a substitute for safe and careful driving. Never rely solely on the Adaptive Cruise Control system.
7 The Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert systems are driver aids only and are not substitutes for safe and careful driving. Under certain circumstances, these systems may not detect other vehicles correctly.
